A dentist recently reported that white teeth might not be
the same as healthy teeth. The color of the teeth may not have anything to do
with the health of your oral cavities. From one perspective that may be true
but there is a lot of things that you should consider when talking about the
color the teeth.
Yellow or brown tainted teeth can be a result of smoking,
coffee or tea habit. Too much use of these can cause discoloration of the
teeth. But yellow teeth at some point do indicate the healthiness of your oral
cavity. Apart from the substances, some people may have certain oral cavity
issues that may be causing that yellowing of the teeth. It may be due to any
gum disease. Even some individuals who take solemn care of their mouth may end
up with yellow teeth due to some diseases.
Why is tooth color so important? Whenever you meet new
people, they try to know about you, and nobody likes yellow or brown tainted
teeth. They may be a part of social displeasure and cause problems for you. You
will find people trying to conceal their teeth in pictures to avoid such
annoyance.
So that being said, white teeth may not prevent gum
diseases, cavities or gingivitis but they certainly help to keep things in
perspective and add to your personal confidence and your public appearance.
They help you keep a positive image in your peers.
What can be done:
Recently people started using hydrogen peroxide and baking
soda, and the results were impressive. Hydrogen peroxide is antibacterial and
prevents many oral related diseases. Use it with water and rinse your mouth for
one minute. Swish away your dental problems with hydrogen peroxide.
Another way of using the hydrogen peroxide is my mixing it
with baking soda. It removes plaque from your teeth.
Brushing regularly is the simplest solution to yellow teeth
problem. Most of the oral cavity problems are due to people not taking care of
their mouth properly.
Apple cider vinegar is another solution used by individuals
to clean their teeth, and it's amazing how this solution is so helpful in so
many ways. Apple cider vinegar is known for removing resistant stains from your
teeth. It’s also a natural antimicrobial agent.
Using natural edible oils like coconut oil has proven to be
quite successful in removing tough stains from the teeth. Use it any way you
like. Swish the oil in your mouth for minutes or apply to a clean cloth and use
on teeth and the result would be fantastic.
